What does she think when she looks at the sea? Does she think the same as me? And what does she see when she looks at the sea? Does she see the same as me, through those impossibly large, blue eyes?
of course you know what she sees, for once you were that little girl
my childhood memories of the beach are still very vivid with me, when it seemed that the whole entire universe consisted of sea shells, water, and tiny grains of sand.
this little one sees complexity in simplicity, she is wise beyond her years, that's why I really do wonder what she is thinking. When she shares her thoughts, they surprise me.

I have those moments, when I watch my little watchers. Impossible to fathom, maddening, sometimes, not to know.
I love that, 'watch my little watchers', and it is maddening at times.

life was so much simpler at that age.
